First result in about 1 minute. The full check takes 5 minutes.

Uses up to 96 MiB of test data. Your personal files are never accessed.

On mobile data or a hotspot, your operator may charge for this traffic. The usage recorded by your operator may exceed the amount of test data.

How to interpret the result

This test sees the complete path between your device, router, provider and the test server. Variation can come from any of them. HTTP response time includes the route and server processing; it is not network ping. Transfer values are indicative, not guaranteed maximum speed. A network error does not prove a faulty Wi‑Fi chip.

Local report

After the test finishes or you stop it, save measurements as JSON or CSV, or print the report. Files stay on your device.

Method and privacy

The test uses synthetic HTTP requests of different sizes in traffic and rest stages, with time and data caps. Timing includes the route and server processing. It does not measure antenna RSSI and cannot prove a hardware fault. We do not upload the report to an account or add analytics pings from this tool.

Practical questions

Why repeat the test near the router?

Compare the same device beside the router and where the issue happens. A large difference suggests distance, obstacles or interference may matter. Repeat at another time too.

Should I try another device?

Yes. Test devices one after another in the same place. Do not run the tests together: they would share the connection. Comparing results helps narrow down the cause but is not a hardware diagnosis.

Can it run in the background or for 24 hours?

No. Browsers restrict background tabs, and the test stops when this page is hidden. The result describes only the measured interval and does not guarantee phone or network performance for a full day.

Do I install anything or select files?

No. Traffic is synthetic and runs only while this page is open. The test does not read photos, documents or other personal files.

Why is signal strength or chip temperature not shown?

The browser does not expose those values to this page. The test shows only available browser measurements such as HTTP timing, transfer and observed interruptions.
