1. Quick checks
- Stop pressing cracked glass — temporary case or tape on edges (not speaker/camera).
- Check partial image vs full black — glass only vs OLED/LCD module.
- Test touch on intact zones — if it responds, data is often reachable.
- If it boots: back up now (cloud / cable) before repair.
- Don't stick film over large shards — uneven pressure cracks the digitizer.
